Fleece
Sleepsuits
Fleece sleepsuits can be found in a
variety of styles for your baby or toddler. These cozy
sleepsuits can be found in footed pajama styles or sleeved
sleeping bag styles, and the soft, thick fleece will keep your
baby snuggly warm on even the coldest winter nights. Fleece
sleepsuits also can help keep your baby safe during the night
or during naps by keeping them warm without having the added
material of a blanket. Pediatricians recommend that newborn
babies should not use heavy blankets while sleeping, for risk
of tangling or breathing problems, so using the fleece
sleepsuit is a perfect option.
Fleece is an ideal material
for your baby, as it is soft, warm, and holds up well even
after multiple washings. Other popular materials for baby
sleepsuits include terrycloth or cotton jersey materials, but
these are not nearly as warm as fleece on those cold winter
nights. When shopping for fleece sleepsuits, you will find many
different styles and features, some including zippers, snaps,
or chin protectors that snap.
Below: fleece sleepsuits can have open
legs, footed legs, or drawstring closures. You can find
them with snaps or buttons so they can be undone for easy
diaper changes.

Some types that are sleeping
bag style have Velcro on the bottom, to stick to the mattress
better and prevent bunching up, moving around a lot, or
tangling. Some models of fleece sleepsuits can be partially
unsnapped, for diaper changes without having to remove the
entire garment. This can be extremely helpful when you find
yourself changing your baby in the middle of the night—when
you’re trying to keep them as sleepy and cozy as possible yet
you can’t avoid the diaper change.
Fleece sleepsuits can be found
at nearly any store that carries baby items. These pajamas are
generally affordable and are available in a wide variety of
sizes and patterns that fit any fashion you want your baby to
have. Whether you prefer solid pink, blue, yellow or green
pastels, or bright colors, or even patterns such as floral,
cartoon character, race cars, princesses, or other
baby-friendly designs like cartoons and happy faces, there is a
fleece sleepsuit out there to keep your baby snuggly
warm!
